Jon Morris, Founder, Ramsey Innovations
We will discuss how best to build your bottom’s up budget to meet both your revenue and strategic goals. Additionally, we will work through best practices for building your supporting business cases and how and when to fight for more. ABOUT JON
Jon Morris founded Rise Interactive in 2004 using the $10k prize money he won in the University of Chicago’s New Venture Challenge business plan competition. Under Jon’s leadership, Rise became one of the largest independent agencies in the country. And over the next 16 years, they won numerous awards from Inc. 500|5000 Fastest Growing Companies (nine-time winner), Ad Age (Best Places to Work in Advertising), Fortune Magazine, and more. Morris has been personally recognized as a leader in technology and innovation on the Techweek100 list and the Crain’s Chicago Tech 50 list. After selling Rise to Quad graphics in 2020 he reflected on what he loved most about the experience: helping other entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of building a business. And so he founded Ramsay Innovations in 2020, a tech-enabled finance & strategic planning company for marketing agencies to help them have the same success he had at Rise.
