About Chris Duncan

Duncan currently serves as the Vice President of Consumer Insights and Digital Marketing for Claire’s and has been instrumental in supporting the evolution of the 60-year-old brand into a modern, full-funnel fashion destination for today’s generations to express themselves.

With over 20 years of executive-level experience in marketing, digital and agency operations, he has helped lead the brand’s transformation into a powerful, omnichannel organization delivering engaging content, experiences and programs globally. His contributions have inserted Claire’s into cultural conversations, reigniting a new generation of brand loyalists, whom the brand lovingly refers to as Gen Zalpha, and inspiring self-expression and confidence.

Duncan is a well-respected leader known for his long track record of successful growth in retail and business-to-business environments and transforming companies into customer-led organizations. Prior to joining Claire’s, Duncan led digital marketing, CRM and analytics for brands including Kohl’s and OfficeMax. He was also the President of Inte Q, a boutique Loyalty and CRM agency located in Chicago, IL.

Eligibility: The Competition is open to brand marketers who live and work in the Chicagoland area, 
regardless of where their employer is located. 

 
Entries: Marketers must have been working in Chicago at least 12 months prior to the 
submission date. Entry Fees for the Competition must be submitted at the time of submission 
and must be paid by credit card at the time of submission.  

Entry requirements for the Marketer are as follows:  

  • $100 per entry 
  • Marketer submissions must include: (a) a written narrative of 300 – 1,500 words, in English, with three distinct sections 1) Strategy, 2) Results and 3) Results & Vision. Each section must also be clearly titled.  
  • Photos must be a minimum 300 dpi in either .JPG or .PNG format 

Any submissions that do not conform to the criteria set forth in these Official Rules or the Submission Criteria may be disqualified, in the sole discretion of AMA Chicago. Submission materials become the property of AMA Chicago and none will be returned. AMA Chicago is not responsible for lost, late, illegible, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, damaged or postage-due Submissions or Submission materials. Best of Luck!
