Can you Create Better Marketing by Design?

Then you could present at Marketing Slam II.

Marketing SLAM, originated by the Chicago AMA, is a unique – and competitive – evening of marketing presentations, and you could be one of the presenters.

The theme this year is “Better Marketing by Design,” and we are inviting the marketing community at large to submit proposals for 10 minute presentations on new ways to use various aspects or types of design for more innovative, effective marketing results.

“Design” could include (but isn’t limited to):

• Design thinking
• Digital user experience design
• Environmental marketing (retail, bus stops advertising, etc.)
• Print Design
• Experiential design
• Presentation design
• Research design
• Graphic design for branding, advertising, packaging, etc.

Competition categories will be determined after all entries have been submitted and we see your brilliant ideas!

Presentation proposals may be submitted in one of three ways: as a Slideshare (max of 10 slides), video (up to one minute) or simply text (up to 100 words) and must be received by December 1, 2016 5:00 PM CDT. Proposals will be voted on by the Chicago AMA Marketing Slam committee and the five highest vote getters will present at the event. The audience attending Marketing SLAM will select the ultimate winner.

Grand Prize: The ultimate winner gets a trophy, bragging rights… and the chance to present a more in-depth version of their presentation as a BrandSmart 2017 breakout session (if any single winner receives more than 50 percent of the votes). This is our largest conference of the year, attended by hundreds of marketing professionals.

All five finalists will receive a professional video of their presentation.
