Christine White

Assistant Professor of Practice & Director of Partnerships and Growth Initiatives | University of Tennessee

Christine White is an Assistant Professor of Practice and the Director of Partnerships and Growth Initiatives in the Department of Marketing at the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business. Since joining the university in 2020, she has successfully launched the Marketing and Sales Innovation Alliance, a dynamic program that fosters industry partnerships and connects students with real-world opportunities.

Before transitioning to academia, Christine built a 20-year career in marketing and sales, most notably at Regal, where she held senior marketing leadership roles. Her work included leading regional and national promotions, strategic partnerships, theatre launches, luxury amenity rollouts, and loyalty marketing — all contributing to Regal’s growth as a national entertainment leader.

Christine’s passion for bridging academia and industry fuels her work today. She teaches graduate-level courses on building a personal brand and is dedicated to helping professionals and students alike develop authentic, marketable identities that make an impact.
