Description
I’m an award-winning storyteller with a background in nonprofit marketing, video production, and journalism. My journey into the industry started at my college news station, LCTV-13, where I covered local politics, culture, and community events, and even interviewed President Joe Biden and Senator Bernie Sanders! After that, I interned at Chicago Tonight on WTTW and contributed to WBEZ’s Curious City, working on digital news pieces and podcast stories.
Five years ago, I created my first documentary, Through My Truth, which recently secured a distribution deal with BET. I also produced See Me in Nature through the Alabama Rivers Alliance Southern Exposure Film Fellowship, raising awareness about environmental issues. Now, as a marketing coordinator at the Center for Enriched Living, I use my storytelling skills to share the impactful work the organization does for individuals with disabilities.
