Anne O’Connell, APR, public relations and marketing director for the College of Lake County, is a PR pro with a background in education, healthcare and government. She enjoys working to enhance and elevate the strategic public relations profession and believes in making an impact as well as continuing her education. O’Connell earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR), a master’s degree in journalism from Roosevelt University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism (public relations emphasis) and English from Northern Illinois University. In her spare time, she enjoys doing CrossFit, traveling, baking and staying active.
