Marketing Mentorships in Chicago
Launching in fall 2023, AMA Chicago’s marketing mentorship program will match new marketers with experienced professionals for monthly, one-on-one mentorship sessions. This program is in high demand, and we welcome all prospective proteges and mentors to apply.

Mentorship Program Details
Criteria for Proteges
Apply to be a protege
Mentorships are available for proteges in any of marketing’s diverse specialties. Proteges should be:
- Currently employed in a marketing position
- Able to provide clear goals for participation in the program
- Available for monthly one-on-one meetings with a mentor

One year of enrollment in this program is $200. The program is only open to active AMA Chicago members, but non-members may purchase membership as part of the application process.
Criteria for Mentors
Apply to be a mentor
Mentors are needed across each of marketing’s niches, including experienced professionals in market research, social media, DEI, project management, and general career growth and hurdles. Mentors must have:
- 10+ years of professional marketing experience
- Experience in managing and/or mentoring
- Current AMA Chicago membership
- Availability for an initial training session and monthly one-on-one meetings with a protege
